Section 114A is a new amendment to the Evidence Act 1950. This law will impact to all the internet users which presumed to have published or re-published illegal contents. The amendment gas wide-ranging reach and extends to practically everyone who uses any Internet platform, from e-mail and social media, to blogs and online media from a computer, laptop or mobile device.
Actually, it is a serious issue for all the internet users cause even though we have set the security for our accounts but we can easily been hacked. For the blogs and forums, if the anonymous users response or comment related with some sensitive issues, the admins should take the responsibility of it. Same goes to the free wireless services or private Wifi networks, they will presumed the wrongdoing towards the owners or users.
Hmm... yes. Although the internet platforms always do their best for the security of the users. But still we cannot make sure that, we would not been hacked by others and get sued. Anything might just happened to us.
This should be concerned as almost everyone of us is a part of the internet. It presumes guilt rather then innocence and allows the cyber criminals to be free. What if we are not be able to prove our innocence?

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with this phrase because according to the law, we'll be pleaded guilty unless who could prove our innocence and many took advantage of this but didn't think of the otherwise, and that's what if, you are not able to prove it?
Therefore, it's better to prevent than cure.
Agree, it's better to prevent than cure. We can hold moderate opinions for any news to prevent all these problems occur. A good way for us to learn how to protect ourselves or others.
