Basically, I've heard of some similar stories about facebook's privacy issues for quite some time and I am aware of it. Off and on, you'll see an article or news about this privacy issues, so it isn't a new issue to most of us. Knowing this issue is a very scary thing because it tells how dangerous it is for us to share our personal stuff in facebook. Without knowing it, our information might leak out or being eye by someone. It is indeed dangerous but people are still using it, including myself.
Few months back, I did plan to stop using facebook due to the big amount of weird news shared by users and also privacy problem. But get to know it that facebook is consider one of the best platform to be connected with friends and family and it is also very useful for group discussion. Thus it is hard for me to leave facebook at this stage where I am still a student and needs to be available for discussion most of the time. But in future, I will consider if things really gets bad.
We just have to accept the fact that we are being secretly expose. Thus, the only thing I can do now is to have a proper privacy setting in facebook to reduce the risk though it cannot be 100% secure.

Actually I am not that aware of this issue even though it has became more and more serious now. However, I must start to protect my own privacy and that is the only way to do before anything happened. ReplyDeleteI agree with what you say, nowadays even the search engine like Google also can easily search your information like your blogger,twitter,facebook and others that might related with you. Just try to go Google and search for the person and the result of his or her information will come out easily. It is dangerous. So we need to have a proper privacy setting in facebook to reduce the risk.
